What To Expect

Want to experience a different side to Maui beyond the beach? This fun zipline tour is the perfect way to get your blood pumping, while also enjoying a bird’s eye view of the breathtaking scenery of this Hawaiian Island.

Head to the zipline park at Camp Maui on your own, picking a start time of your choosing from the list of options available. Arrive at the site and strap on your zipline gear, which includes a helmet, safety harness, and gloves. You also hear a safety overview from an instructor before proceeding.

When its time to get going, your guides will first ensure you are safely clipped into your zipline. They also offer some friendly encouragement if you have any butterflies before letting go. Then step into the air as you soar like a bird through the forest canopy along your zipline, slowing down as you reach the other side.

Over the course of your trip, experience several different zipline attractions, each of which snake through and on top of the area’s forest of Eucalyptus trees. Build up the courage to try the highest ziplines, which reach heights of 70 feet (21 meters) and extend 900 feet (274 meters) from end-to-end, reaching speeds of up to 40 miles per hour (64 kilometers per hour). You also learn to pass across several aerial transfer points, plus a suspension bridge that floats between two trees. Feel free to test out some aerial dance moves as you zip along each line.

As if your zipline flights weren’t thrilling enough, enjoy incredible views of the Pacific Ocean, Maui’s North Shore, and (if you’re lucky) rainbows. Novice and expert zipliners alike are sure to enjoy the course’s range of obstacles, along with stories from your guides about the island’s wildlife, history, and culture.

At the conclusion of your adventure, bid farewell to your guides as you make your own way to your next destination.
