What To Expect
Get a basic safety overview and participate in a discussion of surfing etiquette, then practice on your board for about 20 minutes before you head out to the surf break.
Learn paddling technique, how to turn, stand up, and how to maneuver around the waves. Your instructor will be nearby the whole time, making sure you get plenty of guidance and feel comfortable.
