Learn how to surf in a group setting with this lesson in Maui. The instructor-led group session begins with a land lesson that covers ocean safety and beginner-level steps. All participants must be able to swim and feel comfortable in the ocean on their own. There is a maximum of four students for every instructor, so you’ll receive personalized attention in a small group.

What To Expect
Group lessons are for any students 13 years or older who is able to swim and feels comfortable doing so in the ocean. These group lessons are open for anybody to sign up for and you will all share your instructor(s). We keep our student to instructor ratio at a maximum of four students to every one instructor. We provide beginner level surf instruction as well as a ocean safety briefing prior to entering the water. Our small class size and the latest equipment ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. Our patient and friendly staff of instructors give you the personal attention you need to stand up on your first time out!
