Beginner snorkelers will feel safe and comfortable learning about the sport during this small-group class. With a maximum of four people, you’ll spend some time talking about snorkeling theory, then head to the shallows to practice with some flotation devices. After that, head to deeper water to search for turtles and other marine life. Your guide will remain with you the entire time to ensure your safety and comfort.

What To Expect

Learn to snorkel comfortably and safely on this small, intimate group snorkel lesson in Maui. Non-swimmers and first-time snorkelers are all welcome.

You’ll easily meet your guide at the departure point, and then you’re provided with all of your gear. Learn about how your mask, snorkel, and fins work, and how to use them effectively. You’ll spend some time in shallow water, getting comfortable with your gear and learning about water safety.

After your shallow water practice, you’ll go out on a paddleboard where you have the chance to see more underwater life, like colorful fish and turtles.

If you ever feel insecure, your instructor will be right there to hold your hand if necessary.
