Surfing is an essential part of Hawaiian culture but, if you're new to the sport, you'll need someone to show you the ropes before you dive in. This experience teaches you how to surf in a fun, safe and easy-going environment with a ratio of just three students to one instructor who will make sure that you ride a wave.

What To Expect

This is a small group lesson there will be a ratio of 3 students to one instructor.
Once arriving at the beach, all surfers will be sized up for gear with a foam top surfboard, reef walker surf shoes to protect your feet, and a SPF surf shirt to protect against sunburn and surf rash.

After getting outfitted with gear a hands-on demonstration will take place covering all the fundamentals of surfing, including proper technique and etiquette, the pop-up method, and a detailed onshore and in the water safety briefing.
All lessons are 2 hours total. Complimentary drinking waters will be available after each lesson.
